Support runs through a public issue tracker on GitHub. Bug reports, questions and feature requests for every app go to the same place, so nothing gets lost in a mailbox.
Report a problem or ask a question
Open an issue at github.com/michaelschwarz/app.support, or go straight to a new issue. A free GitHub account is all you need. Have a look at the open issues first — your question may already be answered there.
What to include
- Which app you are using, and the version shown in its About window.
- Your macOS version.
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot or the relevant lines of a log, if they help.
Before you post
Issues are public, and so is everything you attach to them. Leave out anything you would not want published — file paths with your name in them, photo contents, serial numbers — and shorten logs to the part that matters. GitHub is a service of GitHub, Inc.; what you post there is covered by their terms and privacy statement, not by ours.
The apps themselves still collect nothing at all: see the Privacy Policy.
