Apps by Michael Schwarz

Small, focused apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac. Each one does its work on your device: no account, no ads, no tracking.

Parkling

iPhone, Apple Watch, CarPlay

A parking timer that reminds you before your parking time runs out. It can remember where you parked, start the timer by itself when it notices that you have parked, and stop it again when you drive away. The remaining time stays in view on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island, on your Apple Watch, and in CarPlay. Siri and Shortcuts run it hands-free.

Photo Library Export

Mac

Exports photos and videos out of your Mac Photos library, a connected camera, or a memory card into ordinary folders. You decide how the files are named and how the folders are structured, and can write JSON or XMP sidecars next to them. Every export is logged, and it can print an index of what was copied. It only reads and copies; nothing in your library is ever changed or deleted.

Photo Statistic

iPhone, iPad, Mac

Shows what your Photos library is actually made of: how many pictures and videos you took per year, month, day, and hour. Growth charts, a hexagon map of the places you shoot, and your favourites at a glance. Everything is counted on your device, and Siri and Shortcuts can read the numbers out or export them. It never edits or deletes a photo.
